Tinting a Toyota Camry with Ceramic Tint

Hey, it's Andy with Mid-MO Dents, based here in Jefferson City, Missouri! Today, we're working on a Toyota Camry and applying ceramic tint. We're going with 20% on the front two windows and 5% on the rear windows and back glass. This tint will give the car a sleek look and help with heat rejection.

We start by removing the door panels to thoroughly clean each window using a stainless steel razor blade. For the back glass, we use a scrub pad and soapy water to prep the surface. After cleaning, we apply a dryer sheet on the outside, helping keep the surface slick for shrinking the tint. Once ready, the tint is cut on our Graphtec plotter and trimmed on our peel board.



Next, the tint is carefully applied, especially the large back glass which is tricky due to its curved shape. After shrinking the film to fit, we squeegee out the water, ensuring no bubbles or dirt are trapped underneath. We finish by cleaning the exterior, making sure everything looks perfect.
